Nuclear Engineering Course Pt. 4 Organised by Hitachi and TTI

2–4 March the fourth part of intensive Nuclear Engineering Course will take place at KTU Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The course will focus on nuclear synthesis, the impact of radiation on structural materials, nuclear cycle chemistry, thermal hydraulics, nuclear and radiation safety and other subjects.

Lithuania has an experience in nuclear energy field and structure needed for nuclear and radiation safety, scientific and research background and enough nuclear physics and nuclear engineering professionals with university education.

Continuous accumulation and renewal of knowledge is an important factor for planning to build Baltic regional nuclear plant in Visaginas. The course organised by Tokyo Technology Institute (TTI) and Hitachi with Kaunas University of technology (KTU) contributes significantly in expanding and updating much needed skills and knowledge.

The students and teachers of all faculties are invited to take part in the course. The participants of the Course will be issued certificates.

For KTU students the Course will be accepted as a 2 credit module, provided they meet the requirements of individual work.
