Annotation:

Before global and local crises are destabilizing stakeholder trust in the organizations, these should seek a long-term problem solution of stakeholder distrust. One way is to concentrate on corporate reputation since it is treated as a valuable and sustainable organizational asset. The analysis of corporate reputation and stakeholder trust in an organization has revealed that there is a lack of systematic approach to how the reputation of one organization affects the trust of several stakeholders. The aim of scientific research was to theoretically substantiate the impact of corporate reputation on stakeholder trust in an organization and to empirically assess the impact of corporate reputation and its dimensions on a certain type of key stakeholder’s trust in the organization. The dissertation research, touching upon the subject of not only individual but key stakeholders of the organization (customers, employees, shareholders and suppliers) expanded the prevailing understanding of the impact of one organization’s reputation on key stakeholder trust and disclosed the significance of corporate reputation as a complex construct in the general context of developing stakeholder trust in an organization. There was stated that the impact of corporate reputation on stakeholder trust in an organization is multidimensional and in order to solve the problem of declining stakeholder trust in an organization, it is argued that the organization must pay attention not only to areas of its strategic decisions but also to other areas related to corporate reputation.
