Annotation:

In this thesis effect of pulsating flow on tachometric flow and velocity meters was investigated. Inertial characteristics of tachometric flow meters were investigated using developed experimental facility and self-experimental method for determination of time constant of the meter’s rotor. Developed numerical method which allows to simulate response and dynamic error of tachometric flow meters in pulsing flow under any law of pulsation. Using system of dimensionless parameters responce and dynamic error were summarised. Analysis of obtained results of experimental and simulation data allowed to prepare practical recommendations for prediction and avoidance dynamic error of tachometric meters.
It should be emphasized that turbine gas meters are ones of the most important measuring devices for natural gas flow rate use. They measure up to 70 % of total natural gas use. Also these meters are widely used as basic measurement means in reference facilities for recreation of air (gas) volume and flow unit values and then transferring it to working standards or meters. Hence, tasks of this work have practical as well scientific application.
