International Masterclass: hands-on particle physics 2019

Seminar

Each year more than 13,000 high school students in 55 countries come to one of about 225 nearby universities or research centres for one day in order to unravel the mysteries of particle physics. The main activity of the event is an experimental study of elemental particle physics using real CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research data recorded in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment. This April, the CMS Masterclass is coming to Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) for the first time.
