Gravitational Aesthetics: International Symposium

Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) organises an International symposium of arts, science and technologies on the Gravitational aesthetics theme. Symposium will be held in a unique place Panemune castle. Event is initiated by a group of artists and scientists, teamed up in Lithuania to research the development of gravity impact to creative disciplines and to build a robotic motion platform to be used for composing and experiencing kinetic journeys for future dance performance audience.

On the the first day the participants of the symposium will meet in a closed informal forum to discuss about robotic motion platform/attraction idea. Speakers will talk over these year research results and realisation possibilities studies, technological development and the aesthetic possibilities of this performative device.

On the second day of the symposium all interested people will be invited to participate and contribute in discussion. It is planned to invite up to 50 participants, who are involved and interested in interdisciplinary topics.

Symposium will be held in English.
