Global Faculty Week 2021

From 22 to 26 March, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) will host the 2nd international teaching event “Global Faculty Week 2021”, following up on last successful event. Throughout the week, online lectures by more than 50 teachers from 23 countries will be delivered at KTU faculties.

The event is aimed at encouraging academic cooperation among the colleagues from all over the world and bringing a broader range of knowledge and experience to the students.

KTU International Relations Department organized the Global Faculty Week for the first time in 2019. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year lectures and other event activities will be held entirely online. Despite these conditions, the interest for participating has grown. The list of participants includes teachers not only from Europe, but also from more remote countries such as Brasil, Columbia, Ecuador, Malaysia, Oman, etc.

Furthermore, during the week the guests will have the opportunity to participate in the cultural and information events with the activities aimed at bringing together KTU academic community. Our teachers and faculty representatives are kindly invited to join the following sessions:

  • Workshop “Physical vs. Virtual: Challenges of the New Reality” on 23 March, 3:00-4:30 PM. Registration
  • Virtual Networking Café on 25 March, 2:00-3:00 PM. Registration
