Annotation:

The aim of the dissertation is to outline the essence and peculiarities of educational empowerment of battered women for innovation. The theoretical part of the dissertation analyses the theoretical aspects of domestic violence. The analysed complex of characteristics and features demonstrates that battered women can be distinguished as a group of social exclusion. After having carried out a theoretical analysis of the educational empowerment of battered women in terms of innovation conditions and processes, the key aspects of educational empowerment of battered women for innovation have been identified. The research methodology of educational empowerment of battered women for innovation is based on the theoretical model built on the grounds of analysis of reasearch literature. The empirical part of the dissertation presents: the analysis of Governmental documents regulating the protection from violence in intimate environment, its prevention and provision of help to the victims, results of semi-structured interviews with employees from support institutions (educators) and results of semi-structured interviews with battered women. The obtained results are discussed in the context of other scientific works, providing guidelines for the battered women’s educational empowerment for innovations.
