About KTU Design Centre, Kaunas University of Technology
KTU Design Centre was founded in 2014 at the Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania – one of the most prominent universities in the Baltic’s, celebrating 100th anniversary this year. The Design Center is focused on design studies and R&D, main research themes: design for circular economy; design culture for transitions. The Design Centre has founded DesignLibrary Kaunas – a cultural project aimed to diffuse design culture and build a community around design, which has become a local platform and reference for design & innovation.
About Institute of Innovation, Musashino Art University
Musashino Art University (MAU), located in Tokyo, marked the 80th anniversary of its foundation in 2009. MAU was founded as a private art school and was officially designated as a university in 1962. Currently, MAU is one of the leading art institutes in Japan. Institute of Innovation has just started in 2019 and is located downtown Tokyo (Ichigaya).
