Exhibition from the largest in the world particle physics laboratory CERN is arriving to KTU’s Sanataka Valley. The particles, the mysteries of the universe and the LHC’s exploration of matter will guide the visitor through this early-21st-century scientific adventure at this exhibition.
The exhibition is split into two parts: CERN in Images and Interactive LHC Tunnel, which demonstrates how The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) – the world’s largest and most powerful particle accelerator – works. This part of exhibition will allow to test proton acceleration and to check the consequences of their collision on the large screen. By immersing the public in a fully interactive gaming experience, the Interactive LHC Tunnel manages to bridge the gaps between science education, interactive media and information visualization, creating an entertaining and memorable tool for learning.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 18 February at 1pm.
