Annotation:

Original asymmetric encryption protocol is presented. The security of this protocol relies on the matrix power function (MPF). This function is used to mathematically link private and public keys and has never before been used for asymmetric encryption. Algebraic and statistical properties of MPF with conjugation constrains are considered in this work. It is shown that this function can be used for cryptographic protocols.

The suggested protocol is analyzed using the elements of number theory. It is shown that the first version of the protocol is vulnerable to the discrete logarithm attack. Due to this fact we introduce improvements for our protocol. We also perform a comparison of our protocol to other asymmetric encryption protocols.
