Join us for the Evening of Remembrance for the defenders of Lithuanian freedom where we will commemorate the Day of Freedom Defenders – an exceptional day in Lithuanian history.
An outstanding musical performance by the young bards, prominent Lithuanian artists Vidas Bareikis and Raminta Naujanytės-Bjelle, and Robert Mullan’s film Mes Dainuosime (eng. We’ll Sing) awaits those coming to pay homage to the memory of the heroes who died on 13 January 1991 for the freedom of our state.
With a hand-warming cup of tea amid burning candles and bonfires and emotional music, standing together will help us relive the Lithuanian past and to appreciate anew our hard-won freedom.
The event starts at 9pm on Tuesday 12 January at the KTU Electronics building hall (Studentų Street 50).
