2021 IEEE International Conference on Technology and Entrepreneurship (ICTE) “Leading Digital Transformation in Business and Society”, to be held on August 24–27, 2021. The virtual conference is organized jointly by IEEE Technology & Engineering Management (TEMS) society and Kaunas University of Technology.
The conference aims to bring together researchers and practitioners all over the world to share their unique knowledge and experience.
The conference consists of:
Day 1: Research forum representing keynote speeches of acknowledged scholars – Prof. David John Teece (Haas Business School, UC Berkeley), Prof. Michael Wade (IMD Global Center for Digital Business Transformation) and Prof. Max von Zedtwitz (Copenhagen Business School and Kaunas University of Technology). The forum will host a Meet the Editors session featuring editors of well-established academic journals: IEEE Transactions in Engineering Management, R&D Management, Technovation, and Baltic Journal of Management. Furthermore, it will provide a venue for presenting and discussing research results within seven thematic tracks:

| Track 2: Circular Economy through Digitalization
| Track 3: Digital Healthcare Innovations
| Track 4: Digital Transformation in Industry: From Recuperation to a New Normal
| Track 5: Sustainable Consumption in the Digital Society
| Track 6: Digitalization of Entrepreneurial Ecosystems, Connectivity of Business Models and Opening of Innovations
| Track 7: Digital Transformation in the Financial Sector
Day 2: Industry forum hosting Business digital transformation living lab, which features H&M, Siemens Healthiness, Continental, BIOK Laboratory, Hitachi Capital.
Acceptance of submissions for presentation at 2021 IEEE ICTE “Leading Digital Transformation in Business and Society” will be based on selected abstracts and full papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® (indexed in Scopus).
Selected papers will have the opportunity to be published in the special issue of R & D Management. All papers will have to be expanded beyond the conference paper for the journal submission. Each paper will be subject to the corresponding journal’s rigorous peer-review process.
