David John Teece (United States of America) is a professor of international business, pioneer of the concept of dynamic capabilities in strategic management, the globally recognised author, who has published hundreds of scientific publications and dozens of books.
D. J. Teece is the most quoted scientist in the area of dynamic capabilities within the last 20 years. Professor writes research papers and various publications, as well as applies the results of scientific research in practice.
Professor Teece is an honoured economist and director of the Tusher Centre for the Management of Intellectual Capital at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley, and a member of the supervising board at the School of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania.
The scientist wrote more than 30 books and 200 research papers, was mentioned more than 92 thousand times in the search system for scientific literature “Google Scholar”. D. J. Teece is one of the 10 most quoted scientists of the last decade, recognised by the world’s largest management consulting company Accenture as one of the 50 most important business intellectuals in the world.
According to the data of the open Internet access ScienceWatch created for the analysis of scientific metrics and research results, his article on economics and business was the most quoted research paper of the world in 1995–2005.
