Rector ad interim

Assoc Prof Jurgita Šiugždinienė began her work as the Vice-Rector for Studies at Kaunas University of Technology in 2015. She has been the University’s Rector ad interim since October 2017. Šiugždinienė, as a Rector directly contributes to the University’s image as a creative and progressive organisation by discovering and developing talents, aiming to improve the quality of studies and bringing together business and academic community. Former Regional Adviser Consultant at United Nations, next to the current job, she finds time to devote to her hobbies – sailing and power kites.
